After delving into the universe of Cristina Peña and her Casa Peña in our previous post, the time has come to reveal the result of this special collaboration. A collection that materializes stories and turns tradition into art to wear.

As Cristina told us, her goal is to resignify the roots. And these three scarves are exactly that: three canvases that narrate three personal stories, three emotional maps that connect with the land, memories and legacy of their creator.

We present to you, one by one, the treasures that make up Casa Peña’s first collection of scarves, materialized by Textilfy.

Viznaga Scarf

The first design is a tribute by Cristina to her land, to her origins. A piece that smells of salt and biznaga. In this case, the design doesn’t need words; Her story is told through the image. The protagonist is the intense blue of the Mediterranean Sea that bathed the creator’s childhood, a color captured in an illustration that masterfully imitates the tiles on a wall. It is as if Cristina had torn a fragment of a street in Malaga so that we can always carry it with us.

  • Fabric: Twill Synthetic is no coincidence: its elegant drape and subtle shine are perfect for enhancing the intensity of that blue and capturing the light, just as the sea does.

Handkerchief from Despeñaperros down

This piece is Casa Peña’s tribute to Jaén, his current home. The colour could not be other than olive green, that sea of olive trees that defines the landscape of Jaén. The design is full of nods to details of the richness of the province, cave paintings and delicate motifs of its flora and fauna.

  • Fabric: Polyester Gauze. We understand his choice perfectly: its vaporous and transparent fabric makes the motifs seem like echoes of the past, a story whispered in the breeze.

Handkerchief My grandmothers escort me

This is, perhaps, the most personal and exciting design in the collection. It is Cristina’s amulet, her declaration of intent. The phrase “my grandmothers escort me” presides over a design that is inspired by the strength and elegance of a Manila shawl, a symbol of celebration and feminine power that reminds her of them. It is a piece designed to embrace, to feel its protection.

  • Fabric: Recycled semi-silk. A treasure like this deserved a fabric to match, and its choice seems to us to be a total success. Its touch is a caress, its movement is spectacular and its sustainable origin is the perfect way to honor a legacy that looks to the future.

This collaboration is proof that the best ideas are born from respect for the past and passion for the future. We invite you to discover every detail of this collection and to take with you a piece of Andalusian history.
